Eggdrop DCC Chat / xShellz

Hi,

I can't seem to dcc chat with my eggdrop bot. I'm able to telnet into it from my shell, though.

Is there a port or address setting I need to configure for dcc chat to work?

First you have to check on IRC if the bot recognizes you as owner. Then send a CTCP request:

/CTCP <botname> CHAT

and wait until the bot sends you a DCC chat request which you should accept.

Yes, I am the owner and I have done that but the connection never works. It always ends in a time-out.

The bot is recognizes me as owner, but same problem here. i can't dcc chat anymore... something with firewall on server or eggdrop_bot.conf My znc have difrent ip than bot.

Here also the same problem, opens the window as soon as it closes.
