eggdrop upload / xShellz

Hello, i want to know if with free shell i can upload an eggdrop. If yes, can you tell me how? Thank you.

Yes you can. On free shell eggdrop is pre-installed. Simply type

eggdrop -m youregg.conf

You can generate your own eggdrop.conf via xShellz eggdrop generator.

I did that but it says CONFIG FILE NOT LOADED (NOT FOUND, OR ERROR)

Its due to your eggdrop.conf missing file. You need to generate eggdrop.conf first, upload it to your shell via some protocol (ssh) and then to run: eggdrop -m eggdrop.conf

You can disable blowfish.
However, you can set mod-path to /usr/lib/eggdrop/modules

because on location

/usr/lib/eggdrop/modules

is where eggdrop modules are located.

And for scripts it is in

/usr/share/eggdrop/scripts

I have edited your eggdrop.conf and changed absolute paths and enabled blowfish encryption. Your bot is now up and running.

Don't forget to add a cronjob to your eggdrop to restart it in the event it would need to be restarted while you are away.
