Verification email does not arrive / xShellz

So I'm being told "Your account is not verified. Please check your e-mail to verify it or resend e-mail verification?". Yet the verification email never arrives. I've double checked the email address to make sure it is working, and it is receiving email just fine. Does it just take a while for verification emails to make it through the system? Or a better question is, how long do you wait for the verification email before you give up and assume it isn't going to arrive?

It's instantaneous. Doesn't take more than a couple of seconds. Check your spam folder. If it still doesn't work, go to my profile page and change your email. I would recommend gmail.

I had to change to a different email address and it worked. Not sure what the difference is, they are both through the same provider, and I've had them both for years <shrug>.
